As the founder of SMARTBOOKS Accounting & Tax Services, established in 2016, she is committed to delivering exceptional, tailored accounting and tax solutions to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals.
In her role as Director of Accounting, Woodine oversees key financial operations, ensuring strict adherence to GAAP standards while streamlining processes to maximize efficiency. Her extensive knowledge spans corporate accounting, financial reporting, and system implementation, underpinned by a Master’s in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.

Finance Professional
Results-driven finance professional with over 10 years of progressive experience in casino accounting, financial management, and revenue auditing. Proven expertise in overseeing full-cycle accounting operations, including revenue audits, financial reporting, payroll, general ledger management, and internal controls. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance in highly regulated environments. Strong analytical skills paired with hands-on leadership experience, supporting executive decision-making and business performance. Currently leveraging deep industry knowledge as a business consultant, providing strategic financial and operational guidance.
Matine Geffrard
Staff Accountant
Staff Accountant with hands-on experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Processes vendor invoices, code expenses, manages weekly payment runs, and handles employee expense report reimbursements. Assists with customer invoicing, cash application, deposit processing. Performs daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and posts transactions to the general ledger. Maintains organized documentation, follows internal control procedures, and assists with sales and use tax filings. Detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on building a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting.
